Paddy Lynch A 2002 graduate of Brother Rice High School, Paddy went on to play football at Boston College, where he double-majored in English and Theology. In 2006, he graduated Cum Laude from BC’s College of Arts and Sciences, after starting at fullback during his senior season and receiving Dean’s List First Honors, Athletic Director’s List First Honors, and ACC First Team All-Academic Honors.
Upon graduation from BC, Paddy joined the Xaverian Brothers International Ministries and moved to Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, where he worked primarily with orphans teaching English and computer literacy. He also assisted the Missionaries of Charity at one of their homes for the sick and dying. Since returning from Haiti, Paddy has graduated from Wayne State University's Department of Mortuary Science and has joined Lynch & Sons as a fulltime licensed funeral director.
In his spare time, Paddy teaches 7th grade catechism and serves as the Director of Youth Ministry at Holy Name Church in Birmingham, where he has been a lifelong parishioner. He has also joined St. Hugo of the Hills, where he coaches the varsity football team.
