Karen Ann Fisher
August 02, 1964 - June 08, 2012
Karen Ann Fisher grew up in Detroit, Michigan where she attended St. Francis D’ Assisi Catholic School.   She was an avid crafter,  enjoyed camping as a child, and her childhood dream was to be an archeologist.  She always dreamed of going to Egypt and do her own “dig.”  She was a mother of 7  beautiful children and grandchildren.
 
Karen  often did sketches of flowers and  loved the outdoors.  A  true lover of  Rock and Roll and was especially fond of Peter Frampton and Bob Segar. She truly rocked to the music.  Karen had a very gentle spirit and her family will miss her greatly.  We know that she is in heaven in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by father and step-mother, Mark and Annette Fisher; children, Howard Anthony Fisher, Shena Ann (Tyson) Fisher-Wright, Gregory Antoine (Amairani) Fisher-Austin, Marie Ann Fisher-Dowell, LaQuita Marie Fisher-Dowell, Mark Anthony “Marky” Fisher-Austin, Kadiza Fisher; grandchildren, Tyson “Stoney” Wright Jr., London Grace Wright, Lilly Grace, Marques Jr., Aidan, Ismaeel, Annastasia; brothers, Mark Anthony (Erica) Fisher, John C. Stone;  sisters, Kimberlee’ Ann Fisher-Broadie, Dawn Marie Stone, Catherine Renee Stone.   Also leaves 24 nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Mary Ann Covitz.

Shena, I met your mom just once at your babyshower for Tyson. It was such an honor meeting her as well as the rest of your family. I can't say I know how you feel but I do know what you feel. Just know she is in a better place... a resting place in Our Savior's loving arms now. My condolence goes out to you and your family. I pray for strength in the weeks and months to come over your lose.
