Virginia Dorthea Mangus, a long time resident of Brighton, died at Cambridge South Nursing Home in Beverly Hills. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Mangus was born September 29, 1921, in Detroit, to Alice (nee D’Laura) and Patrick D’Amico.
Mrs. Mangus is survived by her sister, Loretta Beveridge of St. Clair Shores and brother, Lawrence (Sybil) D’Amico of St. Simons Island, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mangus is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Mangus and sisters, Claudia D’Amico and Florence DiLoreto.
Private services will take place with interment in Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor.
