Marian Dorothy Heideman, age 87 of Brighton, died peacefully, March 6, 2010.
Born August 1, 1922 in Detroit to Willard and Melissa (nee Sandry) Yowell, Marian married Lowell Wesley Heideman in Detroit on September 18, 1946. Mrs. Heideman was very active in the Brighton Band Boosters, loved knitting baby sweaters for all of the newborns in the family, enjoyed cooking and was known as the “best” homemaker a family could have.
Preceded in death by her brother, Willard Donald Yowell, she is survived by her loving husband, Lowell; their children, Lawrence (Linda) Wood of Wixom, Dorothy (Earl) Kellow of Tallahassee, FL, Linda (Tedd Ray) Potter of Brighton, Gayle Heideman of Tallahassee; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, Wednesday at 11 AM. Earl Kellow to officiate. Friends may visit Tuesday 1-8 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. For further information please call 810-229-2905.
