Mary Alice Lord
September 10, 1923 - November 20, 2012
Mary Alice Lord, a former resident of Springfield, Illinois and Royal Oak, Michigan, died on November 20, 2012, at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Lord, and is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Kenneth) Jenkinson; grandsons, Paul (Sheila) Jenkinson and David (Valerie) Jenkinson; great grandchildren, Hannah, Hope, and Kenny.

Mary was the youngest of nine children born to John and Emma (Miller) Hale and grew up on the family farm in Riverton. She was a State Champion pianist and was a 67 year member and Past Matron of the Riverton Eastern Star, now the Flower City Eastern Star.

A Funeral Service will be held at OakPointe Church Milford, 1250 South Hill Road, Milford, Michigan on Tuesday, November 27, at 11AM. Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, on Monday, November 26, 4-9PM. Burial services will be held in the chapel at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois, on Thursday, November 29, at 1PM. Memorials may be made in her name to Flower City Chapter No.152, Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois, Jim Pinkerton, Secretary, 2109 Sunstone Court, Springfield, IL 62704.
